Just a thought ...

There's a feature called Karma, which is where if someone says something you like, you give them like a thumbs-up, and if someone says something you dislike, etc you can give them a thumbs-down.

This can be interesting, as it shows a kind of popularity count on the forum, making it that bit more interactive by adding another feature.

However, it can make people competitive and can lead to arguments/people feeling subaverage because of bad counts. :S

Just wondering what people want. ^_^ Let me know...

I think this would be a great idea especially once we have more members. I presume we would all get a score by our names on the left hand side and it will show what pots we have given good karma to?

It is a gerat way to easily share our opinion and also show thanks to other members.

Yeah it comes up under your name, I believe near to the postcount.

I have decided - unless the voting pattern changes dramatically, I will turn it on at the weekend, at least for a try.

It could. It'll need careful monitoring methinks, and an entry or two in the CoC...

As of today, I am going to trial Karma. I'll turn it on, but if problems arise then I'll rethink...

The CoC will be updated in a min to accommodate it.

Quick guide:

Karma is for showing appreciation or the opposite as a result of what people are saying or doing:

• EXALT - click when somebody does/says something that you like.
  
• SMITE - click when somebody does/says something that you don't like.

We should try it, but if it leads to argument, the "Karma" thingie should be taken off... ;D
