It does work - it is simply water, and also simply it reflects and refracts the light from outside to inside through the water. It's genius lol - KISS in action!

we must try it, I cant believe this hasnt been more widely spread, surely is would save masses amount of energy. Cant use it at night tho which is when we sort of need lights lol.

Yeah lol, but in large buildings like that you'd still need lighting indoors, unless you had windows in your roof too which let out more heat, etc and are more expensive. Obviously not for night though yeah but still. It's cool anyway
