Vista, in my humble opinion.
Though it needs a good computer...

XP would be my second choice.

Though to be fair I don't have all that much experience with others - though I have used most, I haven't used them all all that much if I'm making sense...

Gonna have to be Windows 7 for me basically cos it has all the eye candy and features of Vista but is as fast as XP
