To be honest, I can't be bothered Is it better in any way than Vista? Apart from Aero Shake, I haven't heard/seen any real pull factors. How is it performance-wise compared to others? Been wondering whether it's triple-boot worthy you see...

Well I havent used Vista on my PC so I cant tell you how fast it is compared but I cant notice any difference between it and XP speed wise. I much prefer the taskbar and how when u roll over the preview of the window it shows you the full sized window so u can easily see it. Its basically what vista should have been. Josh if you want a copy and a actication key I have one you can have if you want. You cant get the activation keys or download it from MS anymore.

That would be fantastic - cheers dude! I'll try and get it on instead of my unused Ubuntu partition. Do you know much about how to safely get rid of Ubuntu? Because it replaces your bootloader on install, doesn't it? So after getting rid, your PC can be useless (so I heard... :S) Also - how much HD space would Win7 need d'you think?

hmmm Im not sure on the bootloader thing, best thing to do is some googling.
You would probabbly need around 20 to 30gb really if you are going to install alot of programs, maybe even more.

Yes its defo worth trying. Somethings you need to spend some time getting to work right, driver installers wont run for example, but you can just use the compatibility tool to make them think its vista. Once youve done this they work fine.
I find that its very stable for what is meant to be a beta. It has bsod on me once since I started using it in January which isnt bad at all. I dont no why it bsod on me nut it hasnt done it again.
I did have XP installed but once I was using 7 I didnt want to use XP anymore and now I have changed my motherboard so I havent got a licence for XP anymore. That is why I am using 7 as my main OS. Basically Im too poor to buy another licence and I reckon it is pretty pointless too as 7 will be released soon.
